Access information
We want everyone to be able to enjoy our museum and we work hard to make it as accessible as we can.
There is level entry from the street with an automatic door and wheelchair access to all public areas of the museum. We welcome assistance dogs.
One wheelchair accessible toilet is available on the ground floor, with grab rails. Please be aware there isn’t a red pull cord.
A disabled parking space is available on East Park Street adjacent to the museum.
By prior arrangement, we can offer quiet sessions or object handling sessions for groups or individuals.
Upon request, a museum volunteer can guide you round the museum and help interpret displays.
