The museum holds approximately 150 geological specimens, from rocks to fossils, consisting of mainly Jurassic and Ice Age material.
During 2025/26 our palaeontologist, Amalia, undertook a project supported by the Geologist Associations Curry Fund. The aim was to make the museums Fossils more known and accessible through a series of events and resources. Throughout 2025 over 600 people interacted with the museums collection.
To ensure the collection is continued to be accessible to everyone a booklet about the fossils, the animals and the geology of the the area was created for everyone to enjoy.
